What date is World Autism Awareness day?
World Autism Awareness Day is the 2 April every year. It was unanimously adopted by the United Nations on 18 December 2007 and was proposed by the government of Qatar.
Other days that celebrate autism are:
- Autism Pride Day, created by Aspies for freedom in 2005 and held on the 18th of June each year.
- Autmas, also created by Aspies for freedom in 2012 and held on the 23rd, 24th, and 25th of December each year.
- Autistics Speaking Day, created by Autistic Self Advocacy Network (ASAN) in2010 and held on 1st November.
